A one-way door is the main tool used to clear possums from a roof in Toowong. It is a hinged flap or short mesh tunnel fitted over the main entry point on the outside of the house, and it only opens outward, so the crew does not need to go into the roof to clear it. The door stays on for several nights, usually around three to five, depending on how the roof sounds.
